Fuguing is a feature used to fill out a Monster’s opposite form on Paironormal Carnival! Once you have upgraded the Centri-Fugue Structure to its active state using Starpower and you own either a Major or Minor Paironormal Monster, you can attempt to Fugue that Monster and fill out its opposite form in the Island’s other mode.

Example:
If you have Transposed a Major Hairionette to Paironormal Carnival (Major), you can select the Centri-Fugue, then select Fugue to attempt to fill out the Hairionette’s Minor form. This process costs Starpower, and if successful, the Minor form of Hairionette will appear in the same position in the Island’s Minor mode. Fuguing is not guaranteed - however, if Fuguing is unsuccessful, there’s a consolation prize - the Monster will be fed once for free!

Major and Minor forms of the same Monster sing different musical parts, resulting in the Major and Minor modes of Paironormal Carnival sounding distinct from each other!

If you own distinct Major and Minor forms of a Paironormal Monster on Paironormal Carnival, you can select the Paironormal Projection in either mode to pair the two of them together at no cost. Both Monsters will then be combined into a single entity, occupying the same grid space on the island and cumulating their feeding levels together.

Example:
Say you have independently Transposed a Major Hairionette from Psychic Island and a Minor Hairionette from Mirror Psychic Island. They will be occupying separate grid spaces from one another in both modes of Paironormal Carnival. Select the Paironormal Projection in either mode, then select Pair to merge your Hairionettes (two halves become a whole)! This process is free and has no chance of failure.
